ANNELISE OSBORNE

Annelise Osborne is a seasoned executive who has dedicated her career to navigating the intersection of traditional finance and the rapidly evolving crypto finance landscape. With experience in New York, London, and Kyiv, she has been present in key discussions where billion-dollar decisions were made, witnessing the challenges of an industry she holds dear, nearly on the brink of failure.  

As SVP and Team Leader at Moody's, she was responsible for rating $400 billion in commercial real estate securities. Recognizing the transformative potential of blockchain technology for capital markets, she transitioned into the startup realm. Annelise emerged as a C-suite executive, board advisor, and thought leader in digital assets, sharing her insights as a university lecturer and a featured speaker on prominent panels and podcasts globally, including Consensus, the Blockchain Futurist Conference, the Real-World Asset Summit, and the Anthony Pompliano Podcast.  

Annelise holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from The College of William and Mary. She resides in Connecticut with her three boys and rescue pups.  

Her first bestselling book — From Hoodies to Suits: Innovating Digital Assets for Traditional Finance — was published in June 2024 and made it to a16z Crypto's summer reading list, receiving endorsement from the former Chairman of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission.  

Hold On for Dear Life is her debut novel, capturing her firsthand experiences during the crypto ICO boom and subsequent crash. She opted for fiction to convey this narrative, believing that storytelling can often reveal deeper truths.
